I went to a class about heat stroke prevention, and it inspired some interesting thoughts. The instructor explained how in places like the middle east, where it gets really, really hot, the indigenous people wear several layers of a fabric called cotton gauze. The fabric absorbs the sweat and acts like a swamp cooler while the outer layers protect from the sun.
This made me think of Adam and Eve. In the garden, where they were naked and according to Brigham Young (Journal of Discourses Volume 1 page 50), had celestial bodies. Then when they were cast out, and their bodies became mortal, God gave them coats of skins and clothed them (Genesis 3:21). This is still used today as the Temple Garment in the Mormon faith. The Temple Garment is worn under the clothing. First of all, it was a testament to me that God knows our bodies better than we usually do, and knew that this multi-layered clothing system actually helps keep our bodies cooler.
Next I began speculating, and this is purely speculation, but why were Adam and Even fine being naked in the Garden. It could be because of the celestial atmosphere was perfect for them in that state, but another idea I had, which is more intriguing, at least to myself, is maybe celestial beings don't sweat.

Anyway, this was something fun that I thought of and wanted to share it with anyone who happened to find this. I hope that you enjoyed it!
